Most common horn relay uses 4 pins:

| 30 | Power Input | Battery +ve |
| 85 | Coil (-) | Ground or horn switch |
| 86 | Coil (+) | Horn switch or ignition |
| 87 | Output | To horn +ve |
π When the horn button is pressed, pins 30 & 87 connect.
